I think it’s fair to say Chance Waters hasn’t had the easiest 12 months. The Sydney artist – whose songs ‘Maybe Tomorrow’ and ‘Young & Dumb’ were voted into triple j’s Hottest 100 of 2012 – has been battling mental health issues and you read more about that at his Facebook page. After sneaking out a tune called ‘Stars Don’t Shine’ a few weeks back, Chance Waters has returned with ‘Break Of Dawn’, the first single from his forthcoming album. It’ll be his first record since his 2012 debut Infinity. Produced by One Above, the song’s had a worldly journey: it began in Indonesia, was written in hostels in Paris and finalised in Sydney.
