Biography
After a two year covid induced hiatus, Australia’s hardest working sports satirist, Denis Carnahan, is BACK to present Rugby League The Musical’s 2022 Season Review and Grand Final Preview!
Three big nights at The Bridge Hotel Rozelle, September 26, 27 and 28.
The show will celebrate two years worth of the on and off field misbehaviour, controversy, villainy, treachery and pantomime that makes Rugby League – The Greatest Game Of All, and boy there’s been a lot! From the ascension of the new Chairman and CEO, to coach sackings, crackdowns, lockdowns, bunker bungles, barbecues, oven bells and contract shenanigans. Plenty of new songs and new characters, along with a few old favourites that have made this show a cult hit.
2022 marks the 10th anniversary of the biggest hit from the show – ‘That’s In Queensland’, and with Queensland still flouting the definition of Origin, there’ll be a special 10th anniversary edition.
For those who came in late, Rugby League The Musical is a hilarious blend of musical satire, parody, sketch comedy and stand up comedy, that takes aim at The Greatest Game Of All and its many colourful characters and controversies.
