Biography

Good Pash are an alternative rock & roll band hailing from Sydney/Gadigal Country. The firebrand quintet have made a name for themselves as one of Sydney’s most exciting live acts, gracing stages at BIGSOUND, St Kilda Festival and Gaytimes, while also supporting the likes of Bass Drum of Death (USA), DZ Deathrays, Press Club, The Buoys and many more.

Originally conceived as an experiment to test the waters for each member’s second instrument, Good Pash quickly developed a sound with foundations in musical simplicity, while also showcasing intricate instrumentalism and unique songwriting. The band remain powered by their greatest strength: a close-knit friendship between all members. Their live shows are loud, messy and raucous yet still retain a classic storyteller song style.

In 2019 Good Pash released their much-anticipated debut EP titled ‘GEN 1’, featuring the single ‘A Yacht on Sydney Harbour’, which landed at #24 on FBi Radio’s ‘Most Played Songs’ and ranked #189 on JUNKEE’s ‘Greatest 200 Australian Songs of all Time’. The same year, they launched and sold out the first of their mini-festival series ‘Good Pash Christmas Bash’, with the recurring series eventually going on to hold three more events, showcasing over 30 local bands.

The band’s 2022 EP ‘Spring is for Missing People’, included lead single ‘Delete Me’, accompanied by a band-made DIY stop motion music video that premiered on triple J Unearthed. That year they also went on to sell out two of their hometown launch shows at Waywards and were one of five artists chosen
to be filmed as part of the ‘Phoenix HALO’ series at Phoenix Central Park.

Following their blistering performance at BIGSOUND in 2023, Good Pash continued an unstoppable run of magnetic releases with the storyteller-folk-inspired ‘Money City’, the coastal breezer, ‘Supermoon’ and the uniquely vulnerable upcoming single ‘The Reprieve’.

With regular airplay across triple J, 4ZZZ, 2SER and more, alongside rotation on triple J Unearthed, Rage and FBi Radio, Good Pash journey is only just beginning.
