Biography

Hailing from the Blue Mountains, garage rock duo comprised of Bella Luchetti and Thomas Abrahamson, are a pocket-rocket upbeat band with influences ranging from Hole to Cosmic Psychos. Meeting incidentally mid-2018, the pair forged a tight bond oozing with energy and enthusiasm. Mimi the Desert Pearls energy has gained them supports with the likes of The Chats, Pist Idiots, Miss June, Gooch Palms and Totty. Their Debut EP “Gary Hennessy” was released in early June of 2019, which has been played on both triple j and triple j Unearthed. 2019 has seen Mimi the Desert Pearl playing gigs all over the east coast, delivering a fun, juicy treat wrapped in grit, straight to your ear drums.
