“Brown is an old-school troubadour. He writes and plays the sorts of songs that call to mind a young Bob Dylan, earnest and confessional without ever tipping over into saccharine sentimentality” – Tom Magazine In the three years since Brown’s first EP release, ‘Moving On’, the 24 year old Sydney based Singer/Songwriter has toured Australia with The Beach Boys, Baby Animals and Bic Runga, played three sold out shows at The Sydney Opera House with Kina Grannis and performed three sets at the 23rd annual Byron Bay Bluesfest. In 2012 he won a busking competition (presented by mX, Studios 301, ARIA, VOX magazine), pocketing a $20,000 recording prize and the title of ‘Australia’s Best Busker’. On July 31, 2014, after years of living on the road, Ollie released his sophomore EP, ‘Weatherboard House’. Since it’s release, the EP has already received airplay on over thirty radio stations across North America.
