Biography

Residing in Adelaide, Sleep Talk are a five-piece band who have helped shape the alternative music
scene since their inception in 2015. After releasing their debut EP ‘Growing Pains’ in mid-2016, Sleep Talk
have captured of the attention of some of Australia’s heaviest acts and industry figures. Their debut single
‘Sorry’ currently holds over 100,000 views on YouTube, 140,000 streams collectively on Spotify and their
debut EP has been downloaded more than 2,000 times.
Sleep Talk’s sound is diverse and dynamic, taking fragments of their favourite sounds and combining them
together to create something truly their own, with sharp passionate vocals being the driving force of the
sound. Sleep Talk bring a unique and refreshing brand of alternative music, with a driving focus of the band
being to create music within this genre and foster a culture that is welcoming and accessible to all.
With a handful of tours and shows to their name, Sleep Talk have performed with notable national and
international acts including The Story So Far (US), Knocked Loose (US), Columbus, Hellions, Stick To Your
Guns (US) and Polaris.
With an impeccable work ethic and experience beyond their years, Sleep talk are moving in their own way,
forging a new path their own path and plan to rise in 2017 and beyond.
