Biography

In the pantheon of great Australian country artists, the name Adam Brand sits high on the leader board. One of Australia’s most commercially successful and popular recording artists, Adam Brand’s career statistics are staggering.

Over two decades Brand has sold more than 600,000 albums, won 12 Golden Guitars, and has been nominated for six ARIA Awards.  He has achieved eight Top 10 ARIA albums. Over sixteen studio records, he has earned three platinum and five gold albums and eight CMC Oz Artist of the Year Awards. He has had in excess of twenty #1 singles on the country chart, including his current hit ‘All Or Nothing’. A massive concert draw he has played to millions of Australians and is one of this country’s top draw cards whether it’s solo or headlining a festival.

In 2022, Adam Brand has released what is possibly the defining album of his career, All Or Nothing – featuring, the #1 single of the same name.

The journey to All Of Nothing began when he first jumped on a stage, with his Dad as a three year old. In between, there was bar bands and busking. Fueled with a love of John Mellencamp and the Eagles, the teenage Adam Brand soon discovered Garth Brooks, Brooks & Dunn and Alan Jackson and country music became his life’s work.

With sights set, Brand packed up his XF Falcon Ute in Perth and drove across the Nullarbor straight to the Tamworth Country Music Festival. A record deal with Festival followed.

Adam Brand’s self-titled debut was released in 1998. The first single from the album ‘Last Man Standing’ became an instant radio hit and CMT (Country Music Television) embraced him.

More success came at the 1999 CMAA Country Music Awards with three Golden Guitars: New Talent of the Year, APRA Song of the Year (‘Last Man Standing’) and Video of the Year. With TV appearances around the country and sold-out tours, Adam became a star.

2000 saw the release of Good Friends. It spawned career highlights such as the title track, alongside ‘The Good Things In Life’, ‘I Did What?’, ‘Beating Around The Bush’ and ‘You’re A Revhead’. The album won three more Golden Guitars:  Album of the Year, APRA Song of the Year (for ‘Good Things In Life’) and Male Artist of the Year.

Subsequent career highlights included an American record deal with Arista Records, touring with Taylor Swift, winning Dancing with the Stars, the success of Adam Brand and the Outlaws and much more.

2020’s Speed Of Life became a late period masterwork for the artist. Also worth investigating are Get On Your Feet (2016), My Side Of the Street (2014), There Will Be Love (2012), Get Loud (2004) and Built For Speed (2002). But, that’s the thing about Adam Brand … ask any fan to name the man’s five top-tier records and you’ll have a robust debate on your hands. It’s that hard to choose.\

Here is Adam Brand in 2022. A family man not afraid to look in the mirror and write about what he holds dear. It’s been a helluva ride so far and there’s more to come. New chapters are being written, and in 2022 with All Or Nothing … the Adam Brand story is still going strong.
